We've arrived in Russia, again...for the last time!
We arrived on Tuesday and had an exhausting and blurry day - at least blurry is how it seems now, in retrospect. We were picked up at the airport, driven to the city we stay in, about 2 hours away from Moscow, checked in to the hotel and had a few moments here before leaving again to go do hours of bureacratic "stuff." We're not entirely 100% certain what we did, but we know it included getting the official court decree, getting new birth certificates for the girls and doing something at the local passport/immigration office related to a fine for not having an adoption visa, which doesn't exist. Sometimes you just take a deep breath and roll with the punches.
Apparently now we need a document from the grils' orphanage to formally get their Russian passport requests moving...and we'd hoped to get that today but apparently the orphanage office is closed. Sometimes you just take a deep breath and roll with the punches.
So, now we have a "day of rest" here. Though we try, try, try to get on local time it's hard and with an afternoon to kill we might just try to get some sleep. We're sure once we have the girls our schedules will get even more wonky and sleep will be liminted as we all try to adjust to being a new family in a hotel room! We're all unpacked and so now we just...wait! (And take a deep breath and roll with the punches).

EXACTLY - take a deep breath and roll with the punches - it'll all be over sooooooon!!!
Congrats on your FINAL trip!
Need pics asap!
Looking for a "Like" button . . . can't wait to see photos!
I didn't have your email address, but wanted to mention one thing to you about the passports. Don't be alarmed if the names that appear are not the exact names you are giving the girls etc. We panicked a little at first, and then found out that they put them down the way they sound. The US Embassy has a form that they do to correct it. This may sound wierd right now, but you will see what I mean when you pick them up!
Hi there Holly and Brian, Yesterday was a big moving day for Rex, Tai, Hayden, Goose & Roscoe on their way to a new home! Have been keeping the pick-up here with a matress and a wheelborrow to haul soon. The weather should be more propitious next week, thank goodness, see you then, Love P
