Brian successfully tackled his one-on-one home study interview with Social Worker B yesterday, so we're now 2/3 complete with the interview portion of the home study. Our final 1/3, the actual home visit, is now scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m. We're getting there! He was, I think, relieved that my promise that the social worker wasn't going to try to play a version of the Newlywed Game - you know, "What was your wife's favorite color when she was 7? No! She said pink! You're not qualified to be parents!" was true and they just had a conversation!
To the family crew we saw on Jeff City this weekend - love you all! You don't know how much the hugs, prayers, good thoughts, wishes, crossed fingers and love mean to us. After the kind of rocky week we'd had previously it was so nice to be immersed in unconditional love and support - I hope you all know that we feel the good stuff that gets put out into the universe for us and it helps, so I'll selfishly ask that you keep it coming!
