We've decided it's FIRE!
Our fourth anniversary is Thursday. We celebrated our honeymoon at what has become one of our favorite spots on earth, a cabin at the base of Pike's Peak. We spent a glorious week there and returned for our second anniversary for the weekend.
Out back, by the hot tub, is a fire pit and we've made our share of S'mores out there.
For years we've talked about building a fire pit in our back yard, but with other home improvement projects and this supposed adoption thing, that just hasn't happened. So, for our fourth anniversary we decided to get a fire pit for the backyard. We picked one on Sunday and love it! We roasted hot dogs over it and ate chili dogs with the leftovers from Saturday night and they were nummy-licious!
We're certain there will be countless nights of fires in our future!
